Carers

Are you a Carer?
Carers are adults and  children who take care of adults or of disabled children.  They are unpaid.  The caring role is stressful, often 24/7, and can be isolating.  Carers provide care to people who are ill, frail or living with a disabiltiy and would not be able to live independently without them.  Carers look after spouses, family members, friends or neighbours.  The cared-for person lives in the practice area, although the carers themselves may live inside or outside this area.
If you are a "carer" we would like to support you.  Please complete the ID Form and send it to the surgery or hand it to reception:
 

 Aylesbury Vale Adult Mental Health Carers Forum

This forum is for anyone who provides care and support to a family member/friend with a mental health difficulty. It is held on the second Monday of every month at the Whiteleaf Centre. It is an informal meeting for Carers' to share and exchange information over cooffee and biscuits.
