SEASONAL FLU VACCINATIONS 17/18 

 

Our main clinics will be held on two Saturdays in the autumn

8.15am-11.45am

no appointment necessary

if you are unable to attend please contact us from the beginning of September and we can book you into a mid week clinic

We will be running our usual seasonal raffle

If you are registered with the practice and fall into the criteria listed below....... this applies to YOU. If you are not sure please ask your GP or Practice Nurse.

Please note children eligible for an influenza vaccine will be contacted separately

 

  • Aged 65yrs or over by 31st March 2018 
  • Are over 6 months and under 65yrs BUT have any of the following conditions:
  • Chronic Heart Disease
  • Chronic Respiratory Disease - COPD, Chronic bronchitis, Emphysema, bronchiectasis, systic fibrosis, pneumoconiosis, bronchopulmonary dysplasia.  Children with hospital admission for lower respiratory tract disease
  • Asthma - on repeated inhaled or systemic steriods 
  • Chronic Renal Failure - renal transplant, nephrotic syndrome 
  • Diabetes- Type 1 & 2
  • Chronic Liver Disease- cirrhosis, chronic hepatitis, biliary atresia
  • Low immunity due to disease or treatment - some chemotherapy, HIV, asplenia or splenic dysfunction 
  • Chronic Neurological Disease- Stroke, TIA
  • All pregnant women
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • You are a Carer
  • You live in a nursing or long stay residential care home
  • Children aged 2 & 3 years on 31st August 2017
